Before you get dressed up (again), get down with this awesome undead video from Matt and Kim.

Can't Miss It: The Weekend
Seatac is, even as we speak, full of zombies. Nothing to be done, really, but write off the city. Meanwhile, Seattle Center gives in to its love of chocolate and we're all the better for it. And Westlake continues to welcome the public to speak its dissatisfaction, but only until 10:00 p.m.
Seattlest Curmudgeons: Flash Mobs Are Over, Also a Terrible Birthday Present, Even to a Statue
The Seattlest Curmudgeon returns to poop on all your parties. The party in question this time? The birthday party for Rachel, the coin-filled, porcine Pike Place mascot. A flash mob? Really?
Gallery: This Week in Seattle
It's already almost the weekend, but, much like zombies (and the zombie trend itself), last weekend's escapades just won't leave us alone. Let's get ready for the weekend with a look back at the goods from the last.
Can't Miss It: The Weekend
For your Fourth of July weekend, honor America by drinking beer, wishing theaters Happy Birthday, and shuffling through Fremont with the undead. Also? Fire!
Seattlest Pix 23June11
Don't forget--if you snapped some photos of the Fremont Fair, we want 'em for the rest of the week. Add them to our Flickr pool, then keep your eyes peeled for your photos.
Seattlest vs. KUBE Haunted House: Terrified For My Life, In a Good Way
Editor's note: Seattlest writer Alex Hudson braved one local haunted house and lives to tell the tale.
In Focus: Red, White, and Dead Zombie Walk
Once again the zombies attacked Fremont, bringing gore and horror to the streets!
Rednecks and Zombies Run Wild This Weekend at SIFF!
We've already previewed a couple of the best titles in this year's SIFF Midnight Adrenaline series in Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives and RoboGeisha, but there are a lot of movies worth staying up for in this year's series, starting this weekend with George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead and Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.
Made In Seattle: Zombie Plates
Local artist Soule has been peddling her dishware on Etsy for several years now - each one-of-a-kind design is hand painted, heat-sealed and dishwasher safe. For her line, Soule paints on plates, mugs, tumblers, tea and cream-and-sugar sets, and so forth; entirely with original and/or custom-ordered artwork. The seasonal Zombieware is new, and fun, and unique, and 20% off if you sign up for the monthly newsletter.
Weekend News Round-Up
- Friday evening, Fremont was over taken by 5,000 zombies. The mass flash mob of the living dead mashed world records and made little children cry.
- Naturally the Fourth of July holiday brought illegal fireworks and even firework explosions that got a bit out of hand, not including the pitched battle on a Westlake dock provoked by foul-mouthed partiers.
Can't Miss It: Weekend Edition July 3-5
ZOMBIES WALK AGAIN!: First it was zombies on Cap Hill and now the streets of Fremont are expected to be littered with the living dead at Fremont Outdoor Film's Red White & Dead Zombie Party. They will be assembling record-breaking zombie masses (anyone can join), in an attempt to beat the Guinness World Record for largest walking zombie mob. Afterward, the gruesome group will meet zombie book authors, listen to zombie bands, try to dance like the zombies in "Thriller" and watch the romantic zombie comedy film,"Shaun of the Dead."
"Ein, Zwei...Die!" Nazi Zombies @ SIFF
Leave it to Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola to resuscitate (sorry) the sub-genre with Dead Snow, and leave it to the Seattle International Film Festival to bring it to local audiences twice in the next two weeks (once on May 23 for an Egyptian Theater midnight screening, and once at 9:30 p.m. on May 27 at Pacific Place).
Neighborhood News and Local Blog Roundup
- Zombie hordes take to the street in West Seattle!
- So that's why we were woken up by a low-hovering helicopter early Sunday morning. In the CD, someone stole a limo filled with apparently unsuspecting passengers and a police helicopter was called in to pursue.
- Be on the look out for a stolen True Value truck--the Greenwood store's truck was stolen six days ago and still has not been found. That's strange, since the phone number and logo is plastered all over the truck.
For Your Consideration: This Weekend at SIFF
Here we are at Day 16 of the Festival. If by now you're long tired of SIFF, you're in luck: STIFF starts tonight. And if you're tired of our takes on this year's festival films, check out reviews by Blue Scholars' MC Geologic. In addition to everything below, this weekend also offers the last chance to hit up two great documentaries, both of which we've previously mentioned, and both of which deserve another shout-out. Anvil! The Story of Anvil is a crowd-pleaser on the "real-life Spinal Tap" (today, 4:30pm @ SIFF Cinema). Meanwhile, Man on Wire, an unexpectedly moving doc about the French tightrope walker (and his friends) who conquered the WTC's Twin Towers, is the best thing we've seen at the fest so far (tomorrow, 11am @ the Egyptian).
