Eater: Yelp Now Has an Official 'Hipster' Category

For all of you figuring out where to spend--or not spend--your weekend hours, Eater National points out the fact that Yelp has added "Hipster" as an official description of the ambience of certain bars, restaurants and coffee shops where the pants are skinny, the irony runs high and the facial hair is artfully groomed. more ›

Psssshhh, More Like "Not For Anyone"

Psssshhh, More Like "Not For Anyone"

The NFT app offers some basic features to find content based on your location for restaurants, nightlife, shopping, etc. You can drill down by category or neighborhood, but only search on the category level. Silly, really. You're better off keeping your $4.99. more ›

The following ridiculous description from Yelp convinced us that we must drop by this fine establishment posthaste. more ›

It rose triumphant from the metaphorical ashes of a Duds 'n' Suds laundromat, and offers home cookin' worth blogging home about, plus the sweet potato fries which are de rigeur these days. more ›

Cafe Stellina's Business Hours Are the Bane of Our Existence

Cafe Stellina's Business Hours Are the Bane of Our Existence

Damn you, Cafe Stellina. In the year and a half the restaurant's been open in its new space (the Piston & Ring Building, the same as La Spiga, on 12th Ave just before Union), their business hours have thwarted our attempts to eat there on at least five occasions. more ›
