Once again, we trucked it all the way across the West Seattle Bridge this week to check out the latest installment in the Four Sheep Acoustic Music Series at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.

After the city of Seattle decided to tear down the legal skateparks in the city (Ballard Skatepark and Seaskate) to purportedly "rebuild them at a future date", local skate kids did the unexpected: they started a blog. Well, OK, actually they started a grassroots volunteer group that is building their own skatepark under the West Seattle Bridge. And, they have a blog.

Three small earthquakes off of Vancouver Island Monday morning were fortuitously timed to coincide with the Seattle Fault Earthquake Scenario Conference in Bellevue. Of course the Vancouver Island quakes were nowhere near the magnitude the conference was discussing.
