EARTH DAY: The UW's Green Coalition invites you out to the campus today for some live music, a gallery of environmental art, a zero-emissions electric car show, a social on the Lake Washington waterfront, and a presentation about sustainable business practices from Jerry Heinlen of Yakima Products to be followed by the movie The Eleventh Hour. Don't worry--there's more earthy doings on tap if you can't make that.

Line Out and Pitchfork had it this morning, but we just found out: My Bloody Valentine play the Wamu Theatre April 27. Tickets onsale to the general public 3/20, with an Internet presale starting 3/18. We'll make sure to post any info we get on how to get in on that.
Ready for an Obama-Gregoire Fist Bump?
If you're not, you better get ready. Michelle Obama, the future First Lady of the United States, will be joining Washington Governor Christine Gregoire onstage for a fundraising event in July. Somehow this fundraising event is free—seems like flawed logic to us—and open to the public. It will take place on July 17th at WaMu Theatre at Qwest Field from noon to 3 p.m.
