This weekend we went to both Bee Well on 45th and the new Pharmaca in Wallingford Center to try and contrast and compare the two after taking in some neighborly bitching about the chain "integrative pharmacy" that's set to crowd out the indie vitamin shoppe.
The seemingly endless renovation of Wallingford Center had better be worth it. It's been a stake in the heart of existing tenants. A number of Center shops have closed, and Second Story Books, after 21 years, is calling it quits too. As of today, visitors can take a last look around and walk away with some great deals.
