LOST BUT FOUND: Village Theatre is presenting Neil Simon's Pulitzer-Prize winning Lost in Yonkers tonight in Issaquah. We've never seen this play but have heard great things, on top of the fact that it's won countless awards since beginning in 1991. The play is a coming of age story, focusing on two brothers who must go to live with their aunt, grandmother, and small-time thug uncle (originally played by Kevin Spacey on Broadway). Supposedly there is a damn good dramatic, family climax in the end, but regardless, this may just be worth the drive to Issaquah.

Can't Miss It: Tuesday
Seattle Pulls Some Tonys Out of the Hat
For the first time ever, we paid attention to the Tony Awards, where artists with ties to the Puget Sound region were winning all over the place. Bartlett Sher, artistic director down at the Intiman, didn't win for , and was developed for the stage as part of the "Village Originals workshop" in 2005, is a fine reminder that Seattle isn't just a stop for big musicals on their way to Broadway, but a place where talented artists actually generate the work that becomes the toast of New York. Congrats all!
