(Via Metblogs) Vivace will finally be opening its doors at their new Capitol Hill location this Friday, 26th. The new store is located on the ground floor of the Brix condo fortress at the north end of Broadway.

So we hear that Chris and Jen, founders and owners of Victrola Coffee, have sold "Capitol Hill's living room" to a new guy, an established independent coffee entrepreneur, whom we believe is Dan Ollis of the Whidbey Coffee Co.

It’s one of those Sunday mornings where the air is very still and heavy, and the dim light is giving you plenty of room to recover from Saturday night. For us, it’s the perfect time to visit the newest Victrola Coffee location on Pike Street.

Yesterday we were hanging out at the Stumptown Coffee at 12th & Madison-ish when this guy circulates around the cafe, telling people that there's a coffee cupping at 3pm. It'd been almost a year since our last cupping at Victrola, so we perked up and headed downstairs for the show.
