We're no hawk. More like a dove, in truth, but today is the day to remember and give thanks to soldiers and servicemen known and unknown--especially to those like this man who gave their life as a nameless cost for a cause they believed to be greater than themselves. While we hope for an end to war, today we will hope above all things for a simple safe return for those serving abroad.
