Seattlest is a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Well, we never actually watched the show all that much. We're fans of the idea of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, maybe. We continue to have trouble sitting still for an hour (or two, or three - damn you DVDs) but we'll probably eventually get it sorted and have ourselves a Buffy marathon for the ages. Seattlest has not yet read Elizabeth Kostova's highfalutin' vampire tale The Historian. (Our queue position at the library is still in the triple digits.) We're hoping for a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Neil Stephenson's Baroque Cycle, but we secretly fear that it'll turn out to be more like Anita Blake meets The Da Vinci Code. more ›
