Apostrophe Catastrophe

We got the following screenshot from intrepid tipster Steve Winwood, who writes: "See if the P-I fixed the hellscape catastrophe apostrophe in paragraph five. This is the worst moment of my entire life!!!!!!!"

Hey now, Wearers of the Green Apron! We know there's at least one or two of you dying to spill the beans about the uber-mysterious company-wide conference call scheduled for tomorrow. Starbucks Gossipers are guessing the call (emceed by Uncle Howard himself) might be about labor cuts or more store closings. C'mon Sbuxians! We are dying to know what this is all about! If someone left us the call-in number and security code in the Seattlest Tip Jar, it'd be our little secret. As always.

1,500 people gathered at Qwest Field last night to say goodbye to Ed McMichael, the Tuba Man. McMichael died November 3, after a robbery and beating on October 25. (Three of the five attackers have been found and charged.) McMichael was a Seattle icon, playing his tuba for tips outside most Seattle sporting events and music events at McCaw Hall--Pacific Northwest Ballet printed a dedication to McMichael in its "New Works" series program.

All those loyal Seattlest readers (and writers) who like to sample a bit of the wacky tabacky from time to time might be interested in checking out this house for rent in Haller Lake. Along with all the usual amenities, it comes with one very special feature. The ad doesn't mention if the house has a refrigerator though. Seattlest reader herbisara alrerted us to this ad via our tips line though didn't tell us what terms they searched on to find it....

By now the word has probably reached you that Robin Williams, he of Mrs. Doubtfire and The Bird Cage fame, is in Seattle to shoot footage for a film. MyBallard took some extra bloggerly initiative and shot some of their own footage of the man! (And then got politely ejected from the set.)
