Another Couple Bumbershoot Acts Announced

The Bumbershoot 2009 lineup is trickling out drop by drop, and today brings a few more names to the schedule: Franz Ferdinand, Os Mutantes, Keller Williams, and Janelle Monae. Today also marks the first comedian on the lineup, Eugene Mirman. And one name off the schedule: The Ting Tings have cancelled their Bumbershoot appearance, probably because they're going to be touring with Pink. more ›

One Reel just announced The All-American Rejects, The Ting Tings (who we saw just a few days ago), Brett Dennen, and U.S.E will be on the bill for Bumbershoot 2009. The guy working the box office said he'd never seen so many around for a show, and word was they were charging upwards of $50 for an originally $15 ticket. That kinda makes sense, given that The Ting Tings show had been sold out for months now, and the last time we saw them they put on a solid, albeit brief, set. more ›
