Are you guys watching this race? Incredible! Super Tuesday has officially come and gone, delegates divided, $250 million in campaign money spent, and still no Democratic frontrunner in sight. We at Seattlest are beside ourselves and while we may never understand the logic behind superdelegates we do know this: Washington is going to have a big say in how this race is decided. This Saturday, Washingtonians will caucus with 80 Democratic delegates up for grabs in the biggest race in the country this weekend. The Seattle Times actually referred to us this morning as "The Next Big Prize." So you want to make your vote actually count? Well, friends, then you must caucus! And your friendly Seattlesters are here to make the process as painless as possible.

This weekend is the return of the Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) Summer Beer Taste, or Beerstille Day!

REMINDER: This Saturday, Annuals open the show for Blonde Redhead at the Showbox and we just might have your tickets right here.

This Saturday, New York indie-experimental band Blonde Redhead plays the Showbox in a sure-to-wow evening with alt-pop opening act Annuals. We're psyched for both acts, but we've been drooling over Blonde Redhead for quite some time now. They opened for Interpol back in November '05 but we arrived late and missed them completely. Woe was us. We'll be sure to get there early this Saturday.

This Saturday offers at least three ways to make a difference in Seattle, or at least look like you care whilst furthering your own selfish interests.

This Saturday, Seattle's own The Long Winters will spread indie rock all over the spacious interior of our favorite venue, The Showbox.

If Seattlest had any female friends, we'd totally make them go with us to Salon Dewi tomorrow night:

You be the judge. This Saturday, two wheel-obsessed events face off at Magnuson Park. In one corner we have the Northwest Film Forum's Bike-In, an outdoor event with music, bike-related demonstrations, beer garden, raffle, and screenings of bike-themed films on a large outdoor screen. The event is co-sponsored by the Cascade Bicycle Club.

Ahh…you know it’s summer when bicyclists in the buff make their return to Seattle. We have grown accustom to marking the summer solstice with the annual Fremont Fair and the running of the nude bicyclists. But why wait until next weekend?

It was just a single line in the weekly newsletter from the Northwest Film Forum, but it set Seattlest's heart a-flutter:
