FESTIVAL: The first-ever (official) Lebowski fest in Seattle kicks things off at the Showbox. Tonight's the chubby dance-rock of the oft tighty-whitey-clad Har Mar Superstar and a screening of the Coen Brothers' classic. Tomorrow's bowling with The Dude at Kenmore Lanes. Wear your best bathrobe and pound some white Russians, or you'll be out of your element, Donny.

SEXY: An Evening of Haute Burlesque with Orchestra L'Pow! and Tigger! (NYC). Tigger is the first winner of the new Boylesque category at Exotic World. Orchestra L'Pow! features some of "Seattle's top-notch and news-worthy teasers," including Miss Indigo Blue. Get your pasties and twirlies out and have a ball.

Seattle's "urban primitive" community (aka drunk hobos with a fetish for bicycles, holier-than-thou bicycle-related political rhetoric and harrassing people at Critical Mass) have now formed an elite squad in order to better organize their drunk bicycle fetishizing efforts. Behold: "The Bikery!" Ostensibly "a new bike collective project that is about to explode all over town.... Working towards the goal of opening a bicycle resource center and community space for all folks who love bikes and want to learn about them." No word yet if there are going to be any classes on pranking your co-workers with food you dug out of the garbage.

Truthfully, we don't know that much about this event, but judging by the people involved and the press that's already out there we think it's going to be worth your Saturday night. The Degenerate Art Emsemble is a 45 piece orchestra composed of "adventurous classical and improvising musicians."
