Apparently its that time of year again, since at least one Seattlest contributor witnessed a few crow attacks on civilians in the past week, including an attack on his own feeble, defenseless person by a pair of crows on the north side of Freeway Park earlier this week. They swooped down from behind at his head, squawking, and followed him halfway through the park. Upon exiting the south side on Seneca he observed a different pair of crows swooping down at other people.Then today he spotted yet another attack on an innocent pedestrian.

Think back to last week, what happened in your life on Thursday night? Specifically, at around 7:30pm, where were you, and what were you doing? Seattlest was in night-skiing heaven, a place we never before believed could exist.

We’ve already sung the praises of the $3.00 meal at Saigon Vietnam Deli, which has also been our favorite place for banh mi sandwiches—specifically the banh mi thit nuong, or barbecued pork. So when we heard rave reviews of said sandwiches at a heretofore overlooked alternative (or HOA, not to be confused with the Chinese Vietnamese "Hoa"), we raced to Spring Roll House Deli to check them out.

On Monday night, Seattlest arrived at the Showbox like we often do, a half hour early so we could sit in the Green Room, have a beer or two, and watch the under-agers patiently waiting in line outside. Our well planned arrival turned out to be somewhat premature however, as we held court with very few other grown-up types in the cozy little bar hugging the south side of the Showbox. Meanwhile, a growing line of minors in faux-punk fatigues wrapped itself around the building like a python to a rat.

After a touchdown a team has a chance to kick an extra point (dat's worth one point), or run or kick it in for two pointsh. For da most part, teamsh don't go for two pointsh unless dey are far behind in da game, like da Vikings usually are.
