Get Out Tonight: Good For the Jews @ the Triple Door

Have you outgrown Adam Sandler, yet long for foul-mouthed, self-effacing, Jewish-themed humor? It would be too Borscht-belt to make a yarmulke and dreidl joke here, but we'll leave to your imagination to suppose we did. Tonight at the Triple Door, Good for the Jews rocks the house. Or shtetl. A Kinder, Gentler, Wetter Bite

How easy it is to poke mean-spirited fun at Silverman Festivals, aka Bite of Seattle. The family-owned commercial enterprise, enabled by the City of Seattle in the guise of a community festival, symbolizes so much of what's wrong with America today: greed, exploitation, overweening appetite and tons of just plain crappy food. Dirty Movies Abound

Even though today is Wednesday, as far as we're concerned, yesterday was Hump Day, since that's when submissions were due for The Stranger's first annual amateur porn contest.
