Since July, more than once we have seen larger-than-life sea creatures taking over news headlines. So far, we've learned of West Seattle's freakishly giant man-eating 8-foot, 100-pound squid, a dead whale found on the bow of a cruise ship in Vancouver, BC, and on Friday, a 46-foot-long juvenile fin whale.
