The plus sides to working security at Southcenter Mall are that you probably get employee discounts (or the homie hookup) at the food court, you have all kinds of insider info on big news stories, and you get to use a radio to talk to your coworkers (always thrilling). The down side, of course, is that you are more likely than the average office worker to get stabbed in the line of duty. A security guard was stabbed outside Seattle's Social Security office this morning. The incident occurred after a man in his 40s became upset that the social security office wasn't yet open. A fight ensued and the man stabbed a security guard in the head. The security guard was conscious and alert on his way to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. more ›
