After one snow and before the next:

MvB and Audrey have shared their own shots—but we've got almost 1000 contributors to the Seattlest Flickr pool who've been busy documenting life in the powdered sugar snow doughnut today.

Recently, the good things in life have seemed 'blink and you miss it,' while the trying times have been 24/7. Here's a reminder to blink and see the good things around us more often. We never, ever tire of the gorgeous colors of Seattle sunsets or the joys of looking in any direction and seeing mountains. There's something absolutely enchanting of this capture of the sunset, though; we think it's the watercolor, Monet-ish feel to it. Whatever it is, we'd be content gazing at its glory all day. Holy crap, that's lovely. And our Flickr pool is chock full of loveliness.

It's not pretty, but it's Rock and Roll. You may not be surprised to hear that this band's Bumbershoot show was shut down after a couple of songs a few weeks ago. Thanks for adding this panic rocking mustache to the Seattlest Flickr Pool, Crickontour.

Is it churlish of us to wish there were a bigger size of this photo to link to? Very well then, we'll be churlish. But grateful nonetheless. As always, many thanks to everyone who adds to our ever-delightful Flickr pool.

It seemed like every other person we passed had a maroon "Oklahoma" t-shirt tucked into their shorts and a smug air about their head region when we were walking around campus before the UW game on Saturday. By our reckoning (UCLA beat Tennessee, BYU beat UCLA, Washington was a terrible call away from taking BYU to overtime) OU were maybe going to get more of a game than they expected. And then they played the game and, it hardly seems possible, the smugness intensified around the heads of the Oklahoma faithful. Campus still looks beautiful, though. Sprizee took this shot of the sun setting on it and left it in the Seattle Flickr Pool for our enjoyment.
