As the days get shorter, and the nights longer, it's only natural that our Flickr Pool contributors are focusing more on Seattle's nightlife, while occasionally reminding us that, yes, the sun does shine on our fair region. From the stillness of nature, to the bustling with activity metropolitan core, our contributors captured it all, and in the end find that all roads lead to a watering hole.

Gallery: This Week In Seattle
It was, at turns, an impossibly gorgeous week in Seattle. As Fall gives way to Winter, Mother Nature saw fit to give us an array of clear skies combined with cold cold temperatures -- except when she didn't, and instead opted for thick fog. Our Flickr submissions largely reflected that, as they captured the great scenery and the places they intersect with man-made events, infrastructure and entertainments.
Seattle Pix: 08Oct14
While the photographer says this photo is what happens when you drink a few too many at the Pike Brewery, we see this like a modern impressionist masterpiece of Seattle. From far away (and interestingly, in a smaller size), there is absolutely no doubt that you are looking at that lovely Seattle skyline. Looking closer, things are not so clear. And don't forget to submit your tipsy, wonderful photos to the Seattlest Flickr Pool. One day, we might be calling them fine art.
Who's Tried Seattle Ramen?
We're curious about the ingredients. What does it take to turn ordinary ramen into Seattle Ramen? Geoduck? Dick's Deluxe? Pike Place Roast? If you've tried it, let us know if it captures the flavor of the city.
Seattle Skyline, August, 1907
We probably don't have to tell you how awesome Vintage Seattle is. But they've outdone themselves today, posting their "most epic Seattle skyline Panorama-o-rama" yet. It's a glorious 5-mile view of the Seattle skyline back when the Alaska Building was the tallest building in town—and yes, we had to look that up. (Then came the Hoge Building, then Smith Tower, for all you architecture wonks.)
