Looking for food this weekend to supplement that World Cup drinking? We have a few suggestions. Mobile Chowdown returns on Saturday (it's the fourth installment), this time parked in the shadow of the Space Needle at Center Square (formerly the Fun Forest) in the Seattle Center. Look for lots of trucks from both Seattle and Portland. This Seattlest writer covered the last Chowdown for Serious Eats, and recommends that you do a taste-test between Koi Fusion and Marination Mobile, a potato playoff between Potato Champion and Skillet Street Food, and finish with a dessert duel between Anita's Crepes and Whiffies (whose fried pies we enjoyed on a recent trip to Portland).
