We've been Ellen Forney fans since we read "I Was Seven in '75" -- back when it ran in The Rocket. Her latest project is Lust, a collection of the "Lustlab Ad of the Week" cartoons she does for The Stranger, published this month by Fantagraphics. We interviewed Forney about the cartoon at Georgetown's All City Coffee, just down the block from the Fantagraphics store where there will be a book launch party tomorrow night.......

Hey, Seattlest! I'd like to start a sex advice column, but there's a catch-22. I'm not a columnist yet, so no one's sent me any questions, but unless I answer questions I don't have a column. Can I just pick a question Dan Savage answered in "Savage Love" and answer it myself? If anyone asks, I'll claim I "solicited questions from friends." I read his column every week -- I must be a friend, right?......

According to Wikinews, staff members for U.S. Senators have been spending some of their time editing Wikipedia articles. And, while "the vast majority of edits to Wikipedia from Senate IPs were beneficial and helpful," other edits involved removing facts from articles. One such effort? An edit to an article about a controversy over Senator Rick Santorum's statements about Constitutional rights to privacy with regards to sexual acts, seemingly coming from Rick Santorum's staff members, removed......

-4000 black employees who brought a racial discrimination suit against Boeing were told today that the aircraft manufacturer did not, in fact, violate the Civil Rights Act of 1964. -A Bainbridge Island ferry and a container ship had a near miss last night when they passed within 1600 feet of each other. That doesn't sound that near to us, either, but apparently both ships had to manuever severely to avoid each other. -"Savage Love" illustrator......
