Ah, those crazy Frenchies, at it again. This time, they're going to pull off a robbery. The gang that couldn't shoot straight, but with accents, The Band of Outsiders. The cute gal is Anna Karina, her boyfriends are Claude Brasseur and Sami Frey, and the director is the embodiment of French cinema's nouvelle vague, Jean-Luc Godard.

Since we don't play the quiz at Kate's Pub every week, we missed the memo: Teams should come dressed up in costume. (Kate herself made a fetching serving wench.) Last night our team was among the large minority in street clothes.

Andrew Wright is one of The Stranger's film critics -- and one of two with the initials AW. We hit him up for an interview in May, but it turned out he was kind of busy watching films to prepare for this year's SIFF.
