Following the Huskies win on Saturday, we declared that all we wanted next was an injury free Pac 10 Tournament.

Amazing but true fact: the last time the University of Washington men's basketball team finished first in their league, they did it wearing satin shorts.

When we lived in LA we had no problem watching the Huskies play at Pauley Pavilion. We could just get in our car, hop on the 10, and presto, eight hours later we were in the building.

One thing we love about Coug fans, when their teams are winning they are the cockiest, most trash talkingest group of hombres this side of the Cascades. This year is no different, and with good reason.

We have had our issues with Ryan Appleby this season. The curly haired guard can seemingly do one thing on the court, hit three pointers. This season he has been struggling to do that, making him essentially useless.

The Husky football team, helped by a Hail Mary touchdown pass to end the second half, became the first state school to win a Pac-10 game this season, beating Arizona 38-14. The Dawgs host the Apple Cup next Saturday.

Thanks to all of the social in-justice in the world residents of Berkeley have many things to talk about. In fact there is nothing they love more then trying to one up each other with tales of misery and woe from around the globe.
