• Seattle loves music, recession or not. Music venues big and small are reporting concert ticket sales holding steady, even selling out, despite the financial slump. We just can't say no to traditions, good music, and outdoor summer concerts.
• Another small plane dropped out of the sky on Monday. This time it wasn't an epic crash landing into port-a-potties, but after losing power, a pilot was able to safely land the plane onto the playfield at Genesee Park, near the shore of Lake Washington.

Recorded by Bubba Jones (sounds like a made-up name to us), is all about road songs. The first one is called "The Most Autobiographical Song," and we're really glad she called it that. It's the kind of artful song title that helps save the song from sounding sort of "Hey, look at me and all I've experienced."
