The Project Red Dress student fashion design competition took place at the posh Fairmont Olympic Hotel last Friday night, so we strapped on our Manolo heels and pretended to be on assignment for Vogue. Other than the perfunctory post-holiday shopping sales, Seattle's fashion community pretty much goes in hibernation in January and February—with the exception of the second annual Project Red Dress fashion competition.
