Welp, Time to Get New Sigg Bottles

In the hubbub last year over the potential teratogenic and hormone-disrupting effects of bisphenol A, everyone tossed their old Nalgene in favor of a new one made from bio-based plastic, a Klean Kanteen, or a Sigg bottle. In particular, the demands for Sigg were so high that the hundred-year-old Swiss company had to shut down production for a few months while they retooled their factory to keep up with the new demand. Well, now it's time to toss those Siggs, as the company has recently announced that the lining of any bottles made prior to August 2008 contained BPA after all.
