Seattlest happily revisited a little bit of our musical past Friday night by attending the world premiere of the Minutemen documentary We Jam Econo. The film, by director Tim Irwin and producer (and Seattleite) Keith Schieron, mixes amazing live footage with recent interviews with surviving band members and various other survivors of the 80s punk scene. Apparently, there is something out there called 'nature.' It has trees and birds and such things. We are a little scared of it. If you, on the other hand, are more intrepid than we are and you also happen to enjoy the indie rock, head over to the Gorge Amphitheater tomorrow to see the Sasquatch Music Festival.
