About 3,000 Microsofties, including many from Western Washington were notified this a.m. that they received the pink screen of death slip. In the memo from Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer he said, "With this announcement, we are mostly but not all done with the planned 5,000 job eliminations by June 2010."
