It's undeniable, Matt and Kim put on one of the best shows out there. We've seen them more than a couple times and every one of them feels as if it's the first time. Kim's unceasing smile and enthusiastic drumming are complimented by Matt's kicks and huge grin behind the keyboards. To top it off they threw empty balloons into the audience for fans to blow up and bounce around at a specified time bringing on an instant party. It's pretty obvious from the photos they have an incredible time performing and we have just as much fun watching. more ›

Day two of Sasquatch music festival didn't slow down even an inch. What an incredible day of music and weather. More than a few of us were red as lobsters at the end of the day, but it was completely worth it. From Wye Oak to Matt and Kim, Iron and Wine to Death Cab for Cutie you couldn't ask for a more incredible day of music all jam-packed into one tiny little gorge. Ok, maybe not so tiny. Weekend Music

It may not feel like summer in Seattle, but tomorrow afternoon is The End's Summer Camp II at Marymoor Park. It's a mix of the good (Nada Surf, MGMT), the bad (Flogging Molly, Pennywise), and the emo-ey (Armor for Sleep). Meanwhile, all weekend long Noise for the Needy marches on, raising money for Urban Rest Stop. Come tomorrow night, it's Matt and Kim, YACHT, and local band Feral Children at Neumo's.
