How convenient! The Washington State Department of Transportation now has a map where you can see exactly where our federal stimulus money will be improving the state's highways and byways. The projects are concentrated, as expected, along I-5 and I-90, with a spattering up by Spokane and a few down towards Yakima. Here's the Washington Jobs Now project list; so far, five of the stimulus projects are at "Gone To Ad" status, whatever that means.

We created a handy-dandy map of the 20-some games happening this week--click the blue dealies to see info about each game. If you haven't gone to a game this year, now's the time. Tickets are $6 (door only), and parking is usually plentiful. Games typically last about 90 minutes.
Seattle Updates Bike Map
If you ever ride your bike outside your neighborhood, you're going to want to have a copy of this map. We can tell you that over the years since we started commuting by bike, we've relied heavily on ours. With all the new lanes being painted and the new pieces of the Burke-Gilman Trail, staying up to date on the most bike-friendly routes is going to be key.
