Go West!: Back to School Edition
Nosy Parker: We'll Have Our Plays Al Fresco
Summer brings a cornucopia of free outdoor theater to the bewooded groves of Seattle's parklands. Thanks to the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival (Wooden O, GreenStage, and Theater Schmeater), there were five plays offered at Volunteer Park last Saturday and Sunday: As You Like It, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, and Robin Hood.
Nosy Parker: We Envy Da Pool!
Over the weekend Seattlest visited Lincoln Park in West Seattle for the first time. At 135 acres, there was more ground to cover than we could manage after our picnic (there are five different picnic areas) -- so we decided on checking out the waterfront path. But there are three ballfields and two tennis courts, too, if you're into that kind of thing.
Seattlest Bowls, Part 5: West Seattle Bowl
Once Leilani Lanes closes, the 32-lane West Seattle Bowl will be Seattle’s biggest bowling alley.
