MargiDavid Salon, in conjunction with Sound Magazine, will host Couture Carnivale, their second annual fashion show, at the Last Supper Club this Sunday, March 29th from 6-11 p.m. The show benefits FareStart, a job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Sunday's event combines a fashion show featuring four local boutiques, burlesque performances by Miss Sugar Magnolia, Iva Handfull and Fannie Beaverhausen, and music by DJ Sang-Do. We caught up with Carrie from MargiDavid Salon to discuss the hotness.

FUNNY JEWS: "The voice of the Jewish hipster movement," Good for the Jews is Rob Tannenbaum (srsly?) and David Fagin (srsly?) and they're on tour with their musical extravaganza, "Putting the Ha! in Hannukah." They're edgy--no songs about dreidels--just like Jon Stewart, who is also Jewish. Last year they sold out their Xmas Eve show at the Triple Door. They would love it if you would come down and help them accomplish that feat again. It'd be a mitzvah.

He is a hip-hop DJ who is most famous for dating Nicole Richie. An old social theorist once quipped fame is a sexually transmitted disease. Have sex with someone famous and there's a decent chance that you too will be famous. For the record, however, we are not saying DJ AM got this gig merely by dating Nicole Richie, we are assured by a friend that he is, in fact, a talented DJ.
