Since Portland doesn’t have an –ist yet, Seattlest kind of feels like they are our younger brother who often gets ignored and we should plug them once in a while. On the other hand, if someone says Portland might be cooler than Seattle, we are immediately on the defensive. Whichever it is, we do believe we have found some Portland features worth noting. For instance, we went to Portland over the weekend to stay in the Jupiter Hotel and see Ivy at the adjacent Doug Fir Lounge. more ›
