We have it on good authority -- namely, the UnSpun list of Best Pub Quizzes in Seattle, which we created last week and which has been voted on by a whopping 4 people -- that the quiz at the Old Pequliar is the 9th best trivia quiz in Seattle.

A note, before we get started: As requested, next time we try a new pub, we'll let you know ahead of time so you can try to win our money.

Last night, Seattlest checked out the quiz at Murphy's Irish Pub in Wallingford. This evening, we were playing with a full team of 5 members.

A couple of months ago, Seattlest ditched the George & Dragon's Tuesday night trivia quiz. We found it slow and overcrowded -- same old same old, we suppose, but we were burned out.

This has got to change: the most comprehensive information on quiz nights in this town is a four-and-a-half-year-old article from the PI. We know it's outdated--it mentions that the "team to beat" at the George & Dragon isn't Elvis, or even Spear Britney, but some team named Spiny Norman we've never heard of even though we've been playing there for three years.

Because of a Tuesday night conflict with our 10-week advertising class at the School of Visual Concepts, Seattlest has been forced to skip pub trivia at Fremont's George & Dragon Pub.

Maybe Seattle doesn’t have a river to dye green just for the occasion, but there are still scads of St. Patrick’s Day activities here in the Emerald City. We suppose you could go to the Seattle Center for the big celebration there, but most people would rather be out drinking, so for your Irish pub-crawling pleasure (cover charges as noted):
