We headed over to the Eco Lavish Fashion Show at Herban Feast in Sodo Park on Thursday. It's a gorgeous venue with warm, soft lighting and a very open airy atmosphere. In other words the perfect place for a fashion show (or a beautiful wedding for certain). It was a fun night of fashion with several designers all interested in environmentally friendly products and materials such as Revival Ink and Vian Hunter House of Fashion. We captured a few of the highlights from this swanky evening of fashion.

Can't Miss It: Thursday
EAT LOCAL NOW: An evening dedicated to local and sustainable food sources. The 7th Annual dinner, presented by Sustainable West Seattle, CoolMom, Herban Feast, and The Seattle Good Business Network, features an all local menu, local and sustainably produced beverages, and speakers active in the local food system. Herban Feast chef Dalis Chea will prepare the meal. There will be local exhibitors with barrels full of information, a silent auction, and music. Proceeds will go to further support the local food economy. For those already engrained in the local food system or for newcomers hungry to know more about sustainable living, this is the perfect event to satisfy those green eating needs.
Dishin': Creme Brulee at Fresh Bistro
We should have seen it coming. The folks at Fresh Bistro, the new West Seattle restaurant from Herban Feast, throw fresh into all that they prepare.
Partay in da Snow!
This dusting, this light haze? We laugh at your puny snowfall, Seattle! We are mighty, we are determined, we are not dissuaded from commerce (or from pleasure, for that matter) just because some of the streets are slippery. So say the folks at BizXchange, anyway. They were planning on holding their holiday party tonight for members--it's a barter and exchange program--at Herban Feast in SoDo. With the snow and all, and so many events getting canceled, they decided to open the doors to all business owners and managers. Complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres from 6 to 11 tonight, in a terrific space (3200 First Ave. S.). So drive carefully and come on down.
