In news certain to impact hyper-literate Seattle hardest, Scrabulous seems to have been taken down by Facebook. We're hitting the Try Again button like meth-addled lab mice, but no dice so far. Dammit, we just had a bingo! We'd heard about Hasbro's cease-and-desist, but we hadn't realized January 22nd was the deadline. The official Scrabulous site seems ignorant of the whole kerfluffle, while the AP still wants you to sign a petition to save Scrabulous.......

...now they've snapped up Cranium, reports John Cook: Seattle board game maker Cranium has been sold to Hasbro for $77.5 million. The company had raised about $36 million in venture capital from TPG Venture Group, Raycliff Capital, Peterson Capital, Quad Venture Partners and Maveron, the venture capital firm founded by Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz and former investment banker Dan Levitan. Sales at the company slowed in 2006, prompting a 20 percent cutback in the work......
