Capitol Hill was certainly not the place to be yesterday, if you were a little old man pushing into your 90s. Seattle police reported that a 90-year-old man was hit by a car as he was crossing an "unmarked crosswalk" on East Republican. He was taken to Harborview to be treated with a life-threatening head injury and possible fractures. The driver of the car was an 89-year-old man, who was maneuvering through the intersection of 17th and Republican.
