Cooper's quiz is scheduled for 8:45 Tuesday nights, though last night's kicked off at 9:00. It's 40 questions, uncategorized. Teams trade answer sheets for scoring. After about 15-20 minutes the host announces results. That's a longish delay, but it's a well-paced quiz overall.

This email showed up in the Seattlest inbox this morning:
Grey's girls are using some questionable coping methods. Meredith submerges herself in the bathtub; Izzy cops to eating a whole tub of butter.
Seattlest goes out to hear a lot of music, and we know you do too. For years now we've sworn by our Etymotic ER-20s to save our hearing, and other than some evenings spent right in front of speakers, post-show ear ringing has become a thing of the past. The ER-20s work better than the foam earplugs you typically come across, allowing more of the high-frequencies to come through, so you can still have a conversation or make out the vocals in a performance. We know not enough of you are protecting your hearing, so we implore you to buy a pair of these for someone you care about, even if it's yourself.
Much like Izzy, Seattlest was curled up in a ball(gown) throughout most of the Grey's Anatomy summer break. Now, Sunday is the new thursday and it's just Grey's, OK? Saying the full name is so last season.
A couple weeks ago, we erroneously reported that button-down genius Bob Newhart would share the Benaroya Hall stage with the Seattle Symphony. Though Newhart is indeed an amateur drummer, we regret to inform there’ll be no such onstage mashup. However, it is true that Bob and Bob alone will perform his standup comedy act at Benaroya -- where in 1999 we attended his last Seattle performance -- Friday night at 8 and Saturday afternoon at 3.
Eric Bogosian is a jack of all trades. That's the feeling we get from taking a gander at his IMDB profile and his website's biography/list of works. Ah, but who the f*** is Eric Bogosian anyways? Good question, albeit one that has already been asked elsewhere. He's a playwright, having authored five full-length plays and six full-length solo works, as well as an actor and a screenwriter. In fact, he adapted his two best known plays, Talk Radio and SubUrbia, for the screen---films that were directed by Oliver Stone and Richard Linklater, respectively. Not bad, Bogosian.
It's not so often we get the chance to relish in the national promotion of our city, enjoy a little quality time with our tv sets and shamelessly force the name of our once and future crush into a post. (Ahem, Patrick Dempsey.) Which is why Seattlest is proud to bring you this weekly feature on ABC's new medical drama, Grey's Anatomy. One part recap, one part rant, one part unabashed lovefest...wait, how many parts is that? Regardless, just read. And watch.
