One Last Show: Dutchess and The Duke

Sadly, tonight is the last show for the local indie rock group Dutchess and the Duke. We found them only a few short months ago when they played a show at the Tractor Tavern. Instantly taken in by their sweet interaction on stage and the great music flowing from their instruments. Both voices work perfectly together as they often sing in harmony throughout their songs. Jesse Lortz and Kimberly Morrison have known each other for ages and it shows in their music and on-stage presence. Both have worked on several projects outside this one including Kimberly's stint with the Capital Hill-based Unnatural Helpers. We are very sad to know that they will not be playing in this amalgamation again. At least we had a couple years to enjoy them. Farewell guys, and good luck on future ventures; we'll be looking forward to hearing what you have in store for us next. more ›
