The Triple Door is Overrated

Every music nerd and sound engineer geek in Seattle always make a point of gushing over the sublime greatness of the Triple Door so finally after years of hype we went there last night and we have to say we were a little disappointed. Maybe it was the fact that we were assigned a seat in a sealed room with a window that one of the strangers we met in the cramped and intimate confines of our cell dubbed "the fish bowl." Try having a private conversation with a friend in "public" when you're cramped in a small room with a bunch of strangers watching an artist perform through a window. It sucks. We dimmed the lights to reduce the reflection in the glass, but then the waitress came in and turned the lights up, blinding our friend and totally destroying our sex appeal forever.
