Pike Place Farmers Welcome Spring with Daffodil Day

Saturday marks the official start of spring. Pike Place farmers are celebrating early by hosting Daffodil Day on Friday, March 19th. Community members will spread spring cheer by handing out an estimated 12,000 free daffodils to area workers, shoppers and residents. Rain or shine these volunteers will be at eight locations across downtown Seattle. The festivities will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (or until all flowers are given). The 13th Annual Daffodil Day will feature City Council members Jean Godden and Mike O’Brien at its 4th & Cherry distribution site. Students from Pike Market Child Care and Preschool will also lend a hand at the 4th & Pine location. Be sure to stop by for your free daffodil and say hello to spring! 11:30 a.m. // Eight locations in downtown Seattle // Tickets: Free more ›
