Over the weekend, University of Washington's varsity eight men's crew beat long-time rival California and the hoity-toity East coast crews in the last 100m to win the 107th Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships. The final strokes proved powerful enough, as the UW bow ball passed the finish line a second faster to win the race.
