That's probably placing the po-mo writer and poet on bit of a pedestal, but it's true--at least in the sense that Ducornet is more than a little "out there." At least one of the FBI's cleverly named local most-wanteds has been found, tried, and sentenced to ten years in prison for his role in ten bank robberies around the region. According to the Seattle Times, the 63-year-old Waddling Bandit (aka Dante P. Dapolonia, which is an equally great name) also has to repay $88,000 to the banks he robbed. Perhaps he can spend his time in jail considering how to use his knowledge of costumes and character make-up towards something constructive, like community theater.

We've just been alerted that Pork Filled Players, ReAct Theatre, Rk Productions, and SIS Productions are holding a weekend rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday the 26th, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday the 27th. There you will find "costumes, clothing, small appliances, interesting theatre props, small furniture, equipment, books, knickknacks, and lots of other great finds at bargain prices and all in support of the arts!"
