Tonight, internationally recognized Tokyo performance troupe chelfitsch arrive at On the Boards for five performances through Sunday, the latest installment in OtB's awesome Inter/National Series. chelfitsch (named for a child's inability to correctly pronounce "selfish") has been a celebrated company in Japan since its founding in 1997 by director Tashiki Osada. Relying on a mixture of interdisciplinary performance, anti-theatrical techniques, and an adoption of hipsterish mannerism and slang, , attesting to OtB's thus far incredible season.
