For those of us that have been like giddy little school girls waiting for new episodes, the new season of Deadliest Catch is finally here! After last night we're three episodes deep...what does everyone think? If you can't get enough of those sea scoundrels, this is a pretty big weekend. Friday evening a public memorial service for the Late Captain Phil will be held at Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91. The service starts at 6:30, and while it's open to the public space is limited to 2,000 so get there early. USA jackets are encouraged.

Deadliest Catch: A Lot of Awesome This Weekend
Rest In Peace Captain Phil, Sea Warrior
It's with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Captain Phil Harris. We had our fingers tightly crossed when news broke that he suffered a stroke while off-loading his vessel Cornelia Marie at St. Paul Island in Alaska. He was flown to Anchorage for a 12 hour surgery and placed in a medically induced coma. After showing small signs of improvement for a few days, he passed away Tuesday night at the age of 53. Heartbreak overflow.
