ROCK OF LOVE: Volunteer organization Seattle Works makes positive civic action as easy as it can possibly be. Volunteer, show up, do good. Kids, women at risk, food banks, education and conservation causes all benefit from Seattle Works volunteers. For nearly 21 years, the organization has given 20- and 30-somethings endless opportunities to help improve Seattle and themselves. They have 14 projects in August alone. The night features musician Alex Mercier, Thick as Thieves, and local group Bekker. Olympic speed skating medalist J.R. Celski will be in attendance. It won't be manual labor, but it'll be fun anyway. Show up, do good. more ›

The lineup is awesome, but we are a little biased towards ceilings, walls and climate control, but that's just us. more ›
