As the bus approaches each and every stop, our driver offers a whimsical rhyme or at least a lengthy, informative spiel on what you'll find, should you choose to disembark here and now. He is charming, jovial, and more importantly, a great driver. He doesn't feel the need to Top Gun his rig, only to come to a screeching halt fifty......

Monday night at the Croc, Islands were sick---quite literally, as all the members of the band seemed to have caught a wittle cold. It makes sense that they'd be under the weather; those scrawny Québécois boys could stand to eat a sandwich or two. Even though they were relatively low-energy, they still put on a great show, and, probably due to the illness, they didn’t cop an attitude like they did the last time......

Sometimes with club security, it's feast or famine. Recently, Seattlest had been at an all-ages show at the Croc, where a bouncer went through everything in our bag, rummaging through pockets, opening our coin purse, and ultimately confiscating an empty plastic water bottle. On the other hand, Wednesday night at Neumo's, the guy at the door barely glanced at our ID and let us in without so much as a cursory examination of our purse.......
