For the second year in a row, a legendary coach has ended his career with a loss at Qwest Field. Last year, it was Bill Parcells who, though he's taken over as a GM in Miami, claims his final game as coach was last year's Cowboys playoff loss at Seattle. One first round NCAA matchup is #2-seed UCLA against #15-seed Weber State--both teams that the Huskies beat! They beat UCLA, by 10, in the final game of the regular season last Saturday. Weber State the Dawgs beat by 29, pushing their record to 10-1, on December 23rd. The Dawgs moved up to #13 in the next coaches poll, then they lost three Pac-10 games in a row, and, well, let's just not talk about it.......

10. Mariners vs Yankees (August 22): The Yankees kept taking the lead and the Mariners kept coming back. In the ninth, with the score tied 5-5, A-Rod came up with a clutch bases loaded strike out. Later that inning Adrian Beltre won the game on a walk off home run. 9. Seahawks vs Green Bay (November 27): The field was covered in snow, Alexander ran for over 200 yards, Hasselbeck over came a slow start......

Last night Gonzaga lost a game they had won. They were up by 17 in the second half and UCLA was playing dreadfully. But the oft-fickle tournament winds shifted. Gonzaga scored only nine field goals in the second half and UCLA scored the last 11 points of the game. The Zags ended up on a plane back to Spokane and the Bruins moved on to the Elite Eight. Seattlest could not have been more thrilled.......

Going into last weekend, the Huskies have shown that they can't beat arrogant fly boys or whiny dirty hippies. After Notre Dame trounced them 36-17 on Saturday, you can now add Catholics to that list. However, they do very well against insane weathermen. The Huskies played a strong defensive game in the first two quarters, trailing only 12-3 at the half. On the other side of the ball, the offense repeatedly gave up key turnovers......
