The City’s undertaking a program to upgrade street signs from aluminum fiberglass (they’re shinier and last longer), and so the Department of Transportation is selling the old street signs for $5-15, depending on condition. SDOT’s put up a list of available signs (pdf here), or you can check the signs out in person at the City’s Surplus Warehouse at 3807 Second Ave. S.
