Through strenuous research, we have learned two things...no, three! about Boxing Day. One is that it's today. Two is that it was apparently the day that the lords of the manor gifted their help. And three is that today it's mainly an excuse to hit the post-Christmas sales. That last part is less steeped in tradition, but it's also what we're about to do. Though they promised to be there, Husker Don't was not among the teams playing the pub quiz at the Old Pequliar last night. Once again, their absence was greeted with applause as a Winchell's dozen of other teams realized their chances to win the big bucks had just improved.

Those hoping to win their way into some extra holiday shopping money must have pounded their heads against a table when they saw Husker Don't enter the Old Pequliar last night.
